new life in surrey campus

meet ya all again today.

6.03 (london time)
After a 12 hours flight trip, I arrived to the one of my dream place I ever meant long ago, london.
Before this, I just heard from others about the wethear here, people here, culture here.
Yes!

It is totally different from my place in Malaysia.
I do proud to be a Malaysian.
Thing is, people here, they are more kind and responsible when in community.


Ops.
By the way,
I arrived Heathrow Airport, sharp at 6.00am(London time).
We met MaraLondon Officer, Mister Khairil and Zahar.
Both are nice.

Then, we took a shuttle bus to Woking station, cost about GBP 9.
We reached there.
Later, we took a train to Guildford Rail Station, about 10 minutes jorney.
Not many people around at the moment.
It seems to be earlier when we arrived Guildford at 8.24am.

New thing I gain, when you travel by train here, if you are alone, let say the fare is GBP 2. However, if you are in 2 3 members, the fare will be a half price cheaper.

Great!

Yes!

The temperature at instant is 17 degree.
Oh god.
It is cold, anyway, we are new, so we need to adapt to the weather.

There, I mean, the Guildford station, our senior, actually BMian student, picked up our belongings and brought them to the Stag Hill Court reception.

Erm.
That's the place I'm gonna stay.
yehuu!

Unfortunately, our senior, Bro Rostam, just brought the bags, not us.
Huhu.
We have a 10 minutes walk to Surrey University entry then to Stag Hill Court.

Oh, I forgot to tell.
We had our Sahur, at 4.30am (referring to Malaysia time), ya know, it is just 11.30pm (london time).

Just imagine.
How long did I have my fasting.
Huhu!

Anyway.
At the court, my friend and I who arrived today, we met Ms Pauline, took our keys and some documents from her.

Again,
I can say, we are unfortunate, today is Saturday.
All offices department are closed, hence, our registration stucked.

What can we do?
Yes!

We just need to wait.

One more thing I forgot to tell.
Whilst I was in the flight, I sat beside a UK couple.
One is Robin and another is Noor.

Both are so nice and humble.
They told me lots of story about UK, especially London.

Yeah,
We talked and talked lots.
I got one good idea from Robin.
He said, "You have to learn the system".

And,
Yes!

Because of that, I will not feel upset or give up.
I will learn to be into the system.

I asked from friends who came a bit early, on Wednesday the same week as me, and other seniors.

And,
Thank god,
Now I can use the internet and write here.

In the evening, we went to Guildford town, seeking for foods to bring home, find clothes and more.

But, what can I say, I feel hungry and I am fasting.
So I have less interest to enjoy the trip for shopping.

I merely bought some apples.
Walk surrounding the town, I did.

We went back to court.
Good news, after having some rest, we go to another shopping complex.
Tesco.

I spent GBP 29 for:

1 bottle of 2L diet coke,
1 bottle of 2L lemonade drink,
1 bottle of vegetable oil,
1 bottle of fresh milk,
1 sacs of sugar,
1 bottle of still water,
1 bottle of pasta sauce, for spagetti,
1 pack of ritz cracker,
1 cutlety 26 pieces,
2 fibre & fruit cereals,
2 kimtowel,
1 brown bread,
1 pack of spagetti raw,
1 kg basmati rice,
1 twintub powder,
10 eggs,
1 dinner set,
1 frypan,
1 breakfast pack.


Oh god, I am suprised, all of that I buy is costs me that much, err, in GBP.

Again,
We went back to court, unfortunately we need to went through a rainy day.

7.25pm (london time).
We went to the mosque (musalla).
eheheh!

There is free breaking fasting food.
I joined other moslems.
We prayed Maghrib.
Before that, we break our fasting with dates and a glass of milk.
It is refreshing as I ate the dates.

After prayer,
We ate, a full plate of rice and chicken curry.
It is delicious, Pakistani guys cooked it.

Later,
I went back to my room.
Setting up the internet matters.
Gosh.
So tired.

My friend, Ali Redza helped me installed the internet to my laptop,
hehehe...
Toshiba Satellite m300...

Finally,
Both of us sleep with a tired feeling but pleasant,errr,
I let him sleep on my bed.
huhuhu!
I slept beside window.
OMG!
So cold.
huhuhu!
